Anton’s journey as a trainer began more than a quarter-century ago, when the concept of personal training was in its infancy. After a lonely ten-year stint in the upper management of The Fitness Company, his passion to instruct got the better of him. So began his career as a freelance personal trainer. Capitalizing on his extensive background in sports (he was a college-football linebacker) and martial arts (boxing, Muay Thai, judo, Brazilian jiujitsu), he developed an approach that uses strength training not only to make the individual stronger, but also to promote healing and to proactively combat the degenerative effects of aging. He now specializes in training people 35 and older, helping them to maximize their genetic potential safely and effectively by exercising rationally, avoiding reckless abandon, and learning the art of “less is more.”
