Lisa Jubilee, M.S., Certified Dietician and Nutritionist, has more than a decade of experience in diet and nutrition. Propelled by the desire to meet the needs of individuals, Lisa has built a reputation for sensitivity and insightful response to the wishes of her clients. In 2005, Lisa became the co-owner of Living Proof - Nutrition/Fitness, which provides a rare blend of one-on-one fitness training and nutrition guidance. Living Proof was created to offer an intimate studio and atmosphere to reflect the individual attention given to each client. Lisa works with clients personally, teaching them balanced nutrition and strategies for developing a healthy relationship to food. Her individualized meal plans, guidance and continuous support lead clients to comfortably attain and maintain their health and fitness goals. Lisa Jubilee’s reputation for practical, individualized nutrition recommendations has been recognized through various speaking engagements throughout New York City. She also has been featured in numerous publications such as Parenting Magazine, Time Out New York, Women’s Health magazine, Amsterdam News, AM New York and The Network Journal. Alexandra has a SHRI Yoga Certification, has completed her Gyrotonic Level 1 Pre-Training and continues to work as a dancer, choreographer and artistic director of alexx makes dances. She brings to the work of Joseph H. Pilates her love of full-bodied movement, breath and a continuous curiosity for the science of the body and its infinite depth. Alexandra has taught diverse populations as a faculty member of the American Dance Festival at Duke University, working in corporate fitness programs, as a guest teacher and choreographer at universities and high schools, and with elderly clients in their homes. After acquiring certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the SuperSlow® Exercise Guild, he began developing a series of exercise protocols of his own, each carefully tested on himself before being applied to others. The result is a (constantly evolving) approach to strength-training, one shaped to meet each client’s goals and needs. Technique aside, Jon offers this summary of the most important things he’s learned about working out: “that getting lean and strong and staying that way takes less time than most people spend watching local news; that having your belly droop over your belt is not an inevitable mark of manhood; that women are stronger than they think they are and can do more than they’re told they can; that there’s joy in testing your limits.” Jon@livingproofnyc.com |

Jon Rothschild, co-founder of Living Proof Nutrition/Fitness, is himself living proof that flesh need not sag as birthdays accumulate. Having managed to keep himself in shape during quite a few decades at a desk job (as a freelance translator), he changed careers some years ago and now helps others achieve maximal fitness in minimal time.
